# HMI Panel view_module
HMI Panel allows operators to monitor and operate on one or more panels and view charts data, alarms and notes.
There are two ways of accessing HMI
The first is to access directly without logging into PlexusLAB; this is the way operators usually follows.
Or, you can access after logging into PlexusLAB.
The first shown window is related to the panels, previously configured in PlexusLAB in the panel page.
The entire panel list is shown aside, and the operator can jump from one to another in a few clicks
# Top bar
The top bar contains utility buttons and link buttons to navigate to different pages.

This button allows you to view and add engineering logs / notes as a reminder for operators.
You can add a Note. Once the Note is added, it will be on the To Do tab. Clicking done on the element will goes to the Done Tab. You can delete the element on the Done Tab.
The Plexus button allows you to show a list of options.

# Using HMI
For security reasons, when accessing HMI Panel without logging in, a user doesn't have access to operate on buttons and switches until a 4-digit pin code is inserted.

Using the HMI to set a variable is easy: click on it, put in the value and press enter.
Switches are usually assigned to digital I/O channels.
Note: when assigning a button element to an analog input channel, turning it off will reset the value to 0, turning it on will set it to 1.
Viewing blackbox is a key component from an operator point of view, and the user interface is kept very similar as the one used inside PlexusLAB.
The blackbox top bar gives the user the following functinoalities:

|replay||Load Selection||Load selected graph of your timeline|
|sync||Live||Get constant data from your variable, update every second|
|CHARTS LIST||Charts List||Select charts that you want to view from this PlexusLAB|
|-||Timezone||Select hours difference, in a range between +3 hours or -3 hours|
